HydroFLOW Pennsylvania, headquartered in Pennsylvania Furnace, PA, is the exclusive Pennsylvania distributor of the unique HydroFLOW water conditioners that are powered by the patented Hydropath technology. These environmentally-friendly devices have been distributed throughout the world for many years, but only recently entered the U.S. market. Over twenty years ago, Hydropath Technology Ltd., located in the U.K., invented a process that treats fluids by inducing a robust yet harmless signal of ±150kHz throughout plumbing systems made of any material. The pipe, and/or fluid inside of it, acts as a conduit which allows the signal to propagate. The induction of the signal prevents scale and biofilm from accumulating inside plumbing systems and gradually removes existing deposits. This preventative action significantly reduces energy, chemical, water and maintenance costs which extends the service life of equipment and pipes.

Sergeant Major Matthew J. Berrena entered the Army in June 1979 and completed Basic Training and AIT for 63B (Light wheeled vehicle mechanic) at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training 11B and Jump School at Fort Benning, GA. Stateside assignments include Hunter Army Airfield, GA; Fort Benning, GA; Fort Polk, LA; and Fort Bliss, TX. He served an overseas tour in Alaska.
Sergeant Major Berrena served in every leadership position in the 75th Ranger Regiment. Sergeant Major Berrena served as a Rifle Squad leader during Operation Urgent Fury with Company C 1st Bn Ranger 75th INF. Rifle Platoon Sergeant and Platoon Leader during Operation Just Cause with Company B 1st Ranger Bn, Rifle Platoon Sergeant and Platoon Leader during Operation desert Storm with Company B1st Ranger Bn, and Rifle Platoon Sergeant during Operation Iris Gold with Company B 1st Ranger Bn. While assigned to the 3rd Ranger. Bn he was part of the team that developed the CQB manual for the Ranger Regt. As the Regimental SGM he was the Regimental Master Sniper and the Regimental Master Breacher. As such he was responsible for all training and doctrinal materials for each subject.
Sergeant Major Berrena’s military education includes PNCOC, BNCOC, ANCOC, 1SG Course, and class 49 of the Sergeant Major Academy. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne School, Pathfinder School, Ranger School, Jumpmaster Course, Sniper School, Special Operation Training Course, and numerous other courses. He also holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Management from Regents University, NY and a Technical Degree in Commercial Refrigeration. He also is a Master Electrician and a Certified Commercial Generator Technician.
Sergeant Major Berrena’s awards and decorations include 2013 Inductee of the US Army Ranger Hall of Fame, the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Medal (6th Oak Leaf Cluster), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (3rd Oak Leaf Cluster), Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Bronze Service Star and Arrow Head), Southwest Asia Service Medal (2 Bronze Service Stars), and numerous other service decorations. Sergeant Major Berrena also earned the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Master Parachutist Badge with one Bronze Star, Pathfinder Badge, Ranger Tab, Canadian Parachutist Badge, German Parachutist Badge, and the Philippine Parachutist Badge.
Joe Berrena has been an industry expert for 35 years. He began his journey by creating a start-up service company out of his own home in 2002. Even with having minimal resources available, Joe was able to make something great out of only a little. His knowledge makes him an expert in restaurant equipment, commercial laundry, power generators, plumbing, electrical service, welding/fabrication, water treatment, RV/boat repair, and even car mechanics.
Joe uses industry expertise that has made the company develop and become a locally recognized standard of excellence. He has pioneered corporate growth and breaking barriers.
Mike Berrena is responsible for selling key accounts including national and regional, territory layout and development, sales forecasting and budgeting. His professional and personal background in community development for the central PA region has cultivated a strong client base and broad network. Mike provides excellent customer service and has extension knowledge about distribution, pricing and presentation that makes him an industry expert. He leads our market research, trend analyses and incentive programs.
